Module 2: Composition and Framing

  • The Rule of Thirds & Leading Lines

    • Creating balance and focus within the frame

    • Utilizing leading lines to guide the viewer's eye

  • Shot Types and Framing

    • Wide shot, medium shot, close-up, extreme close-up

    • How framing influences emotion and narrative clarity

    • Common angles: high, low, eye-level, and Dutch tilt
